Amateur Valentine

blahblahblah it's been 3 weeks blahblahblah

Here are some of the most fitting valentines for my most fit valentine:

Funny Valentine's Day Ecard: I could watch TV with you forever.
And I probably will. With a side of chips and salsa, please.

Funny Valentine's Day Ecard: Let's watch your shows this Valentine's Day.
And I promise not to watch the Bachelor when you're around and I will not insist we play The Office first when we pull up Hulu on Friday night. Yep, I love you that much.

Funny Valentine's Day Ecard: Nothing Steve Jobs ever creates could fully replace you in my life.
Except I'm pretty sure there are times where the MacBook Pro ranks higher than I do...

For Valentine's Day Eve, my sweetheart ended up watching Sleepless in Seattle with me last night (great gift, dear). Let me tell you, this is hands-down the best movie for those in the valentine mood, folks ("We should go.... Shall we?" Be still, my melting heart!). For what it is worth, we also watched Last of the Mohicans yesterday - not too valentine-y, unless you relate it to the St. Valentine's Day massacre. But who doesn't love a great romantic subplot involving Daniel Day Lewis? Works for me.

On another high note, the weather is behaving beautifully, reminding me of valentine days of yore spent in San Diego and Savannah. Those were the days, and here's to many more!

How are you spending your V-day? Bonbons? Sparkling cider? Nonchalant feelings? I'm pretty sure we'll watch Chuck, House, and maybe eat some Mexican food. Yes... we go ALL out, people.

Those e-cards are hilarious! You guys rock! And Dan and I feel the same way about the Bachelor. ;)

We went out to eat last Saturday for V-day (Mickelle watched Kenna) and we took Ben. He proceeded to blow out while we were at the restaurant! Fun. Then we went grocery shopping. :) Tonight? Nelson Family party. SO romantic!

Hey, you do what you gotta do. Sometimes sacrificing control of the TV is a real sacrifice :) Good for you. Way to show you love him. Hubby is working out of town, yet again this week. We will celebrate this weekend perhaps :)

Those are such cute cards! :) I love it when the hubs and I can sit down and watch a show we both enjoy. :) Our Valentine's Day was me home with Spencer (he had no school), Tyler working, and then a homecooked meal with my traditional (from when my mom did it with us) hearts on the plates with candy bars. :) Um, their boys...and they love it. ;) Happy Valentine's Day Mary!!

p.s.- Does this mean you are planning to come up to NYC for Valentine's next year to go to the Empire State Building???
p.p.s.- heehee, my word i have to type in is palin. thought that was funny.
